Medical Writing Network

The Online Community for Medical and Health Writers

So does blogging really generate supplemental income? This used to be a really hot topic and I think it's going to be a hot topic in 2009 as the economy goes through struggles and changes. Medical blogging will come back and we'll see more and more blogs popping up as unemployed people look for something to fill their time.

I agree with Diego. Content is the king. There are millions of blogging sites on the Internet. But I am sure I will go back to one that offers quality content.

Best Wishes

Hello, Joseph. There are several ways to monetize a blog, but the most important thing (especially for health blogs) is to offer quality content, instead of just trying to sell people something. It's not wrong to sell, since we all need to make a living. But good content will bring more traffic, hence a better chance that visitors will click on your ads.

Keep up the good work.
