sorry for the delay..absolutely...to get a reasonable idea of what it takes attend the ICH E3 online workshop on CSR writing as a good initial step...see how it is ..what you do not understand and using what you have as an MT and a basic understanding of descriptive stats you can forge your own path in terms of training...this looks like a a very good exposure...

Hi Gokul,

Yes, InQuill does offer a comprehensive e-course on CME Training for Medical Writers. It is offered at three levels. The Advanced Level offers a Fellowship placement with a medical education company, CME department at a university, or medical society. We have just completed our first course and are in the process of placeing graduates in their Fellowships. The placements last two months and give graduates an opportunity to break into the CME industry, make connections and get testimonials for self-promotion. You can find out more and download a course outline at www.inquill.com - click on CME Training. Happy to answer any other questions you might have. Johanna

Hi Gokulraj,

Thank you for contacting me. I would suggest that no matter what profession you are in medical or non medical. Writing skills are considered as the most important part of communication almost in every office job. Even the secretary should have good writing skills.
Being a medical transcriptionist you will have already come across medical terms. You can venture in Medical writing but at the sametime you will also have to choose your area of specific interest. Based on that you will have to choose your path and I can advice. Please send me your resume at azizfar@gmail.com
