Hello G P,
My name is John tansey. I am an Executive Clinical Recruiter who works in the Clinical Trials aspect of Drug Development. Most of my clients are in the Cambridge, MA. area. I have several openings, (contractually as well as Perm) at the moment. Would you, or anyone you know, be interested in speaking to me about these opportunities?
please, at your earliest convenience, drop me a line. i would truly appreciate your time.
Sorry!I never really got down to Thank you for replying to my earlier discussion about Org memberships. It is really selfish to expect people to take out time & share their knowledge ¬ even get appreciated in return. It is against blog/email etiquettes(spelling?)I am a Homoeopath taking my first baby steps in this field.English is the official but not first language of India. So how much does command over English language &having writing skills ,matter if one wants to pursue this career?Should one take a Technical/Scientific Writing course along with a course in MW?Please opine.Sorry once again.Thanks.

Thank you so much! wow! you've been doing this for over 10 years now! Thats incredible!
The advice you give speaks volumes about your experience..I hope the first steps that I take are steady eventhough they might be slow.
I am going to start with the courses pretty soon here & I am raring to go!
Thanks so much for the advice! I do not plan on getting a Masters in Biomedical writing. Its just too expensive for me at the moment. But, I am seriously considering the Regulatory Writing course offered by MJoTA website.
I will be defending for my Masters in Molecular Biology & Biochemistry pretty soon here.
If you dont mind my asking - How did you venture in this field? The knowledge that you have is simply incredible!
I saw the comments & advice given by you in the discussions here. I must say Thanks a bunch! and hats off to your selfless & genuine advice.
I enrolled in school here to work on my PhD in Molecular Biology & Biochemistry, but 3 years down the line I have come to realize that I do not want to go down the academic road. A post-doc & running a lab & working on the bench 24 X 7 is not what I had anticipated when I first came here. I already have a Masters in Biotechnology from India, but now, I am contemplating switching to a Masters here, so that I can start as a Biomedical Writer. I do not have any prior experience in this field. But, I do have four publications in my field and there is 2-3 more papers in the pipeline. Do these pulications count at all?
I know I am taking a huge leap here but I am sure I will make it through. All I need is guidance from this network here!
Any input & feedback, with respect to my current situation will be deeply appreciated!
