Profile Information

About Me:

I got PhD in Mol Biology/Endocrinology from Sanjay Gandhi PG Institute of Medical Sciences in 1995; did my postdoc at Univ of Chicogo, USA in Endocrinology; my second postdoc at Indiana University School of Medicine, USA in Nephrology and became a faculty member in the Department of Medicine at Indiana University. I have a patent on "Fluorescent In Situ RT-PCR". I later on moved to Eli Lilly and Co, USA in Scientific Communications in Exploratory Program Medicine and got to write CSRs, Protocols etc in Oncology, Endocrinology and Nephrology and also spearhead IND compilation of a diabetes molecule.

I have briefly trained PG students in Clinical Research after returning to India last year after 13 years in teh US, but soon got disillusioned with the teaching/training scene. Presently, I head the medical writing function at GVKBIO at Gurgoan.
