Hi Dr Deshpande,

I'm currently working on a Creative magazine concept specially dedicated to serve Doctors & Medical Community.
Here in this mag we are addressing the doctors as a creative being, trying to make them more socially responsible as well as addressing their problems.
Here we publish stories, poetry, photography, artwork and like these creative thing for doctors, I mean most of the time their own creative work.
They can raise their voice against any issue they are facing and we try to make them realize, how important their work is for humanity through the medium of stories and poems etc.
At the same time they are free to write about their personal experiences, research & latest happenings around Medical World.

Your career profile is very much impressive.
It would be great to see your contribution in it in terms of personal experience, any case study, research news, etc

I'd like to add you to my professional network on LinkedIn.

Thans & Regards,

Dr. Prajakata: Yes, I highly recommend you take a basic course in technical/scientific writing. such a course will help better understand the "style" of writing English prose that is preferred in the life science industry. Thankfully that style is relatively simple and very straightforward application of the English language.

I suggest you consider a correspondence course. It may be helpful to take one from a US educational institution, as this will like bear more weight with large pharma companies and CROs.

Something else to consider is to visit this link http://ocw.mit.edu/OcwWeb/web/home/home/index.htm which is a listing of all the course curriculum at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. You can see there all the courses they offer in technical and medical writing and have access (for free) to the training materials.

Hi Dr. Prajakta,

This is a good course with the best structure. The faculty provides immense support to enhance skills. They offer the best possible advice and support for placement. You may opt for the course and see the difference it makes for you.

All the best

hi Prajakta,
the course is of course well structured. about placements I'm not sure. But the kick of clinical practise is not there in medical writing. If you are clinician then think about it again.
