Medical writing in India

I am an young MBBS graduate from India.. I find writing articles/medical charts quite interesting, but I was wondering how to get started.. Do we have simple courses/orientation programs in Mumbai for this... And most importantly, does my being a Doctor make a significant diference to this kind of work..? I do have decent writing skills too.. but I'm a bit confused where to get started..
Any tips??
