How can I start a medical writing career?

Hello everybody. I am a postdoc researcher (3 year-experience) with a BSc/MSc in Medical Biotechnology and a PhD in Cell Biology and Physiology. I have worked in the field of neuroscience regarding mainly the central nervous system in health and disease. I would like to start a Medical writing career based in Italy. Could anyone help me? Do you have any contacts?
